Catalog Description
Introduction to formal language concepts: regular expressions and
context-free grammars. Compiler organization and construction.
Lexical analysis and implementation of scanners. Top-down and
bottom-up parsing and implementation of top-down parsers. An overview
of symbol table arrangement, run-time memory allocation, intermediate
forms, optimization, and code generation.
