Christos Kolias' Home Page

Academic background

Graduated from the Computer Science Department at University of California at Los Angeles . I received my bachelors degree from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Athens, Greece . In Greece, I went to the Varvakeio High School (class '85). My research interests lie in the area of Computer Networks-Modelling and Analysis. While at UCLA, I worked under the DARPA/ITO funded Distributed Supercomputer Supernet ( SSN ) project. Previously, I was with the Advanced Networking and Distributed Systems ( ANDS ) project, which was also funded by DARPA.

High-Speed Switching, Broadband Networks, Queueing Theory and Applications, Performance Evaluation, Wireless ATM, Ad-Hoc Wireless Networks, Nomadic Networking, Intelligent Networks, Protocol Design, Digital Libraries, Distributed and Parallel Systems, Graph Theory, Coding Theory, Temporal Logic and Reasoning.
